SPARKLES & MAGENTA

Hello Lovelies, hope you had a fantastic weekend? I did; attended my  friend, Bimpe's wedding. This is my first outing this year, and I had been planing it for weeks, lol!

The event was split into Friday and Saturday, and I enjoyed both days

For Friday, the aso-ebi for the brides friends was this brown and gold ankara which had some sparkly bits. 

I was on the look out for the most comfortable style cos to be honest, these days, only comfortability matters to me. This style seemed to be the best I could think of, and yes, I achieved my aim of being comfortable.

The colours for Saturday were magenta and peach, and my friend being the fashionista that she is, chose this magenta guipure lace and peach aso-oke gele , tapped with champagne sequins. I have never thought of the magenta + peach combo, but I must say it came out really nice.

 I left home in these shoes, but got to the venue in a pair of flat slippers ( lets just say I wore the heels for the purpose of picture taking) lol!

About my gele for both days, I have been going on Youtube and practising for weeks, tying and retying , only for the day to come and I couldn't come up with a decent or even semi professional style * phew*. Don't you just hate when that happens? Like , so why have I been practising all along?? Oh, well...
